My Favorite Painter
I can't say that I have a favorite painter. My concentration in college was Interior Design so needless to say I took A LOT of Art History classes. I loved it and was exposed to so many different artists that I came to appreciate most all of them.
I do love Monet's paintings and they are extra special to me because I visited Monet's gardens at Giverny in high school. Breathtaking!
I have always loved this painting. It's by Jan Van Eyck. The convex mirror with multiple reflections always intrigued me.
